Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of front office experience in luxury hotels preferred
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and oral English
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and evenings
  • Proof of work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Check in guest in an efficient and friendly manner using guest name whenever possible
  • Assure that guest is assigned type of room requested and correct rate is charged
  • Check out guest at end of stay
  • ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bill to guest
  • Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction
  • Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel
  • make change and exchange foreign currency
  • Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift
  • Assist guest with all inquiries about hotel services such as hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions and Concierge services
  • Respond to all guest requests with highest level of hospitality and professionalism in an accurate and timely manner via in person, phone, chat message and email
  • Utilize various computer systems to check guests in and out, run reports, input reservations and select and block rooms for arriving guests
  • Communicate with internal personnel via radio, Hotsos and Teams and chat guests via messenger application
  • Assist in absence or due to heavy volume in areas of Reservation and phone coverage for Communication Operator
  • Work closely with Guest Services Team to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
