Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of related experience
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Working knowledge in Athena EHR preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear background check and compliance with all federal, state, and organizational credentialing requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Job Duties
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors setting an example for positive attitude and exceptional customer service delivery
- Patient check-in/check-out
- Coordinate and communicate patient/provider schedules ensuring follow-up and tracking of all patient referrals, prescriptions, appointments, cancellations and reschedules
- Ensure all patient records are accurate, complete, compliant, current, and managed
- Handle multi-line phone calls focusing on addressing patient concerns, coordinating with vendors, and engaging with potential new patients as part of marketing efforts
- Maintain patient database updating information as needed
- Organize front office space consistently evaluating needs assessment to ensure operational efficiency and productivity
- Perform over-the-counter collections of co-pays, deductibles, and cash payments following standard operating procedures
- Review all patient documents for accuracy and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in company training sessions and team building activities including webinars and meetings
