Job Description

Institute For Orthopedics & Chiropractic (IOC) is a busy multi-specialty clinic operating in two locations, Edina and St. Paul, Minnesota. With a dedicated team including 5 chiropractors, 2 physical therapists, 2 physical therapy assistants, and 2 massage therapists, IOC provides comprehensive and integrative orthopedic care. The clinic utilizes the Gonstead Method of chiropractic care, a traditional and respected approach known for its effectiveness in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work closing shift hours
  • availability for occasional travel to St. Paul office
  • willingness to cover occasional Saturdays
  • excellent communication skills
  • basic understanding of insurance processes
  • comfortable using technology and medical software
  • experience in medical office preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a medical office or similar customer service role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with Apple computers including iPad, Pages, Numbers
  • familiarity with medical software such as Jane is a plus
  • ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • passion for healthy living and patient care

Job Duties

  • Greeting patients
  • collecting copays and balances
  • preparing paperwork for upcoming appointments
  • communication with patients and doctors
  • verifying insurance benefits
  • complete prior authorizations/referrals
  • answer multi-line phone and scheduling for two locations
  • explains insurance benefits to the patients
  • optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
