Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • One or more years experience working with the general public in a front-desk receptionist environment
  • Experience in long term or geriatric care preferred
  • Ability to work full or part time regular schedule
  • Sensitivity to needs and limitations of seniors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Patience
  • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to commute to Peoria, AZ 85382

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • One year college preferred
  • One or more years working with the general public in a front-desk receptionist environment
  • Experience with long term or geriatric care preferred
  • One or more years working in a secretarial position helpful
  • Sensitivity to needs and limitations of seniors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Desire to work with frail and elderly
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read and write English

  • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Greet all incoming visitors
  • Answer phone and disburse mail
  • Maintain maintenance work order book
  • Take and relay all messages to staff, residents, or family members
  • Maintain residents and guest sign in/out sheet
  • Communicate with residents and staff on all issues through phones, intercom, memos, etc.
  • Maintain daily communication log book for continuity of shifts
  • Assist Director in touring potential residents and visitors
  • Maintain the emergency book for all residents going out 911
  • Mail ancillaries to corporate office
  • Assist Manager as needed
  • Assist van driver with scheduling appointments and maintaining appointment book
  • Manage guest meal reservations
  • Create new resident files for marketing paperwork or emergency room contacts
  • Manage new employee files and fax paperwork to corporate office
  • Update phone list
