Job Requirements

  • One to two years previous front office experience in luxury hotels preferred
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English
  • Must be flexible with schedule, able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Must provide work authorization document, proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America

  • Ability to use multiple computer systems simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner using guest names when possible
  • Assure guests are assigned requested room types and correct rates are charged
  • Check out guests at end of stay, assure guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bills
  • Settle bills accurately via credit card or cash transactions
  • Maintain balanced bank assigned by hotel, make change and exchange foreign currency, reconcile transactions after shifts
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, hours, key personnel, events, directions, concierge requests
  • Use computer systems for check-ins and check-outs, run daily reports, input reservations, select and block rooms
  • Communicate with internal personnel via radio, hotsos, teams and messenger application
  • Assist in reservations and phone coverage as needed
  • Work with guest services team to manage luggage, deliveries, and special requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
