Job Requirements

- Previous experience in customer service or front desk role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in for their appointments, ensuring all required paperwork is completed and accurate
- Manage patient appointment scheduling, ensuring that the calendar is up-to-date and appointments are booked in a timely manner
- Answer patient calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information regarding services, appointments, and insurance coverage
- Participate in the optical department by helping patients select eyewear, assisting with frame and lens options, and explaining insurance benefits
- Verify and process insurance information, ensuring that claims are filed correctly and patients are informed about their coverage
- Handle patient payments, process transactions, and provide receipts
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place
- Work alongside optometrists and other staff members to provide a seamless patient experience
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, inventory tracking, and ensuring that the office is organized and presentable
