The role of Front Desk Receptionist at USPI is vital in providing exemplary customer service and administrative support within the clinical setting. This position serves as the primary point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff, facilitating seamless communication and efficient patient admissions processes. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for admitting patients, processing their paperwork, updating demographic information, and managing billing transactions according to office procedures. This job requires multitasking abilities and strong organizational skills, along with proficiency in medical terminology and computer systems to accurately handle patient data and financial transactions. The receptionist will also be expected to answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, directing queries as necessary. Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • one year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred
  • skills necessary to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties
  • forty-five wpm typing skills required
  • medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
  • bilingual preferred
  • good communication skills
