Better Together ND's downtown Fargo office is currently seeking a highly organized and compassionate Receptionist to become the welcoming face of their facility. This full-time position plays a vital role in the day-to-day functionality of the office and serves as a critical touchpoint for participants looking to enroll in or utilize services. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing front desk operations, facilitating participant enrollment, providing assistance and information, and maintaining a professional and inviting environment. With a starting pay rate of $20.00 per hour, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to engage directly with the community and support individuals on their journey to recovery.
In this role, the Receptionist will enhance the participant experience by assisting with program applications, answering inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner, and ensuring timely communication between participants and staff members, such as Care Coordinators and Peer Support personnel. Additionally, the position requires managing incoming phone calls, maintaining the reception and common areas, and overseeing office supply inventories. Strong organizational skills and an unwavering attention to detail are essential in handling participant paperwork and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in reception, administrative, or customer service settings and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Job Duties
- Assist prospective participants by accurately completing program applications with them
- Answer in-person inquiries and provide helpful information to participants who walk into the office
- Direct participants to the appropriate staff and notify staff of their arrival or need for assistance
- Check in participants for scheduled appointments
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and clarity
- Maintain the reception area and common spaces to ensure they are tidy, presentable, and welcoming at all times
- Monitor office supply levels and notify leadership promptly regarding any ordering or supply needs
