Additionally, the receptionist communicates regularly with referring offices, handles documents through scanning and faxing, and maintains proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and email management systems. Proficiency in Windows Office Suite or Office 365 is required for completing routine administrative tasks.

While prior experience in the dental field is advantageous, it is not mandatory since the practice provides thorough on-the-job training and opportunities for professional certification. The focus is on hiring individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable, comfortable with technology, and committed to outstanding patient service. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality and safety standards are crucial. The team environment at Oral Surgery Michiana encourages collaboration, ongoing feedback, and continuous professional growth.

Joining Oral Surgery Michiana means not only becoming part of a reputed healthcare team but also benefiting from comprehensive employment perks. These benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, employee discounts on services, life insurance, retirement plans, and support for professional development such as on-the-job training and certification programs. Additionally, employees receive a uniform allowance and the opportunity to work in a stable, supportive environment dedicated to patient outcomes and employee satisfaction.
