Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year in healthcare or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the dental field is a plus but training provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and phone systems
- Willingness to accept feedback and grow professionally
- Ability to follow HIPAA and OSHA regulations

Job Duties
- Welcome patients to the practice and check them in for treatment
- Manage patient registration paperwork including patient data, insurance information, referral documents and the like
- Prepare and compile next day charting information
- Maintain presentable environment in waiting room and patient areas
- Confirm appointments and follow-up with patients as necessary
- Communicate with referring dental and medical offices
- Scan, fax, and organize documents
- Maintain proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and email management
- Use Windows Office Suite/Office 365 for basic administrative tasks
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
