Job Requirements

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in computer systems (Windows 11)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
  • Verify patient information, insurance eligibility and benefits, and calculate copayments
  • Process patient and insurance payments
  • Submit pre-estimates and pre-authorizations to insurances as needed for patient treatment
  • Communicate effectively with back office staff regarding patient needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office and waiting area
  • Follow HIPAA and office policies to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
