As a receptionist at America's Best, you will serve as the welcoming face of the store. This role is vital to the smooth operation of daily activities, acting as the first point of contact for customers and providing exceptional service both in person and over the phone. Receptionists play an integral role by managing patient records, facilitating appointment schedules, and ensuring that customer interactions are positive and efficient. This position not only enhances customer experience but also supports the entire store’s operational workflow. This part-time or full-time role provides the benefit of having Sundays off, with the store closed every Sunday, offering a consistent day of rest each week. - 0-2 years related experience or training preferred

Job Duties
- Ensure high quality customer service while following all safety protocols
- ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store
- answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol
- process and understand managed care plans and obtain information from insurance companies as needed
- provide customers basic and accurate information
- schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes
- file all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments
- check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays
- keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials
- receive, sort, distribute daily mail and deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies
- participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings
