Nestled on three acres of scenic Brushy Creek frontage and shaded by century-old oak trees, Shady Acres Pet Ranch provides a serene and safe haven where pets can experience a home away from home. The ranch is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable receptionists to join its dynamic team. This part-time position offers hourly pay ranging from $13.00 to $16.00, based on experience and the positive energy the individual brings to the workplace. With flexible shift options and an expected 15 to 25 hours per week, this role is ideal for those who enjoy interacting with pets and thrive in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Receptionists at Shady Acres Pet Ranch will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, playing a critical role in representing the ranch’s commitment to exceptional service and care. Responsibilities will include handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, conducting tours, managing check-ins and check-outs for boarding, daycare, and grooming services, and responding to queries regarding fees and policies. Additionally, receptionists will collaborate with veterinary clinics and clients to maintain accurate vaccination records, make appointment reminders, and support pet owners with various needs.
Beyond administrative duties, this role also involves direct interaction with pets, including recording feeding, medication, elimination, and behavior, providing tender loving care, and assisting with housekeeping duties around the facility to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. The position expects candidates who are responsible, punctual, reliable, and team-oriented, with the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to engage warmly with both pets and their owners are essential qualities for success in this role.
