The Front Desk Medical Receptionist role at Synergy Weight Loss & Primary Care is a critical position that serves as the first point of contact for patients entering the clinic or reaching out by phone. This full-time, Monday through Friday job offers a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour and includes a range of valuable benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan. The work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, ensuring a balanced workday conducive to productivity and patient care excellence. The clinic provides a Chevy Blazer EV company vehicle for both professional duties and personal use, highlighting their commitment to employee convenience and sustainability.

In this role, you will orchestrate the front-office environment with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, managing multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance policies, efficiently handling patient intake and check-out processes, and managing EHR data with accuracy using AdvancedMD software. Additionally, this role involves coordination with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience throughout their visit. Special attention is paid to managing insurance verifications, collecting copayments, handling prior authorizations, and managing referrals and medical record requests. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
  • front desk medical receptionist or customer-facing experience preferred but not mandatory
  • proficiency with EHR software AdvancedMD experience highly preferred
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • willingness to submit to background check
  • authorized to work in the United States
