Our company embodies core values such as quality, honesty, and care, which are evident in every aspect of our practice. We not only focus on excellent dental care but also strive to maintain a strong connection with the community through active outreach programs and by fostering internal growth opportunities. Familia Dental is dedicated to being more than just a dental office; we see ourselves as a family that supports each other and the community around us. This focus on internal development makes Familia Dental an excellent place for employees to build meaningful careers rather than just holding jobs.
We are currently seeking a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Plainview, TX. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and customer service experience for our patients. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for efficiently checking them in, verifying insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient payments. Familiarity with dental office protocols and insurance procedures is highly valued, but training is provided to the right candidate. This position requires a person who is not only detail-oriented and organized but also patient-focused and able to respond with kindness and professionalism to all individuals.
Working hours for this part-time position are flexible but generally fall between Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves working at least two days per week for up to 20 hours or less, including some rotating Saturdays. The Front Desk Receptionist will participate in daily morning huddles, chart reviews, and regular office meetings to ensure the team remains aligned and informed.
The environment at Familia Dental is fast-paced, and this role demands excellent communication skills, computer knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with dental management software is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should also be familiar with HIPAA regulations, OSHA laws, and safety standards to maintain patient confidentiality and workplace safety. Joining Familia Dental means being part of a dynamic team focused on providing exceptional care and making a difference every day through our commitment to the community.
