Job Description

AdventHealth is a prominent healthcare system dedicated to delivering whole-person care that extends beyond just treating illnesses. Rooted in the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, AdventHealth focuses on nurturing the body, mind, and spirit of every individual it serves. As one of the leading Christian health systems in the nation, AdventHealth operates numerous hospitals, outpatient centers, and other healthcare facilities across the United States. The organization emphasizes a supportive and inclusive work culture where employees are valued for their unique contributions, encouraged to thrive professionally, and nurtured spiritually. Employees who join AdventHealth become part of a community that believes in uplifting others and making a significant impact on health and well-being through compassionate care and innovation.

This particular role is based in Burleson, Texas, at the 12001 SOUTH FWY facility, operating on a full-time day shift schedule. The position is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. The role focuses on patient interaction through various communication channels, handling inquiries, processing registrations, and managing critical information to promote a seamless patient experience. You will play an integral part in verifying insurance details, collecting payments, and managing sensitive information such as release of information requests. AdventHealth offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $25.60 for this position alongside an attractive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off from day one, retirement plans, and other wellness resources.

As a member of the AdventHealth team, you will use your strong communication skills and customer service experience to address patients' concerns quickly and accurately. The role demands multitasking capabilities, accuracy in handling data, and the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages using age-appropriate communication techniques. You will be responsible for gathering and updating patient demographic, employment, insurance, and medical condition information to facilitate accurate registrations and billing. Additionally, you will handle release of information requests from various entities such as attorneys, insurance companies, and other medical facilities, ensuring compliance and confidentiality. The position is ideal for candidates with prior experience in customer service, particularly in healthcare or hospitality environments, and who are comfortable operating standard office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners.

AdventHealth commits to providing employees with resources to support their overall well-being, including mental health support, career development opportunities, and family-friendly benefits like 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave and pet benefits. Working here means being part of a purpose-driven team that values diversity and fosters an environment of respect and collaboration. If you are passionate about contributing to a caring and efficient healthcare setting and possess the skills to manage patient interactions with professionalism and empathy, this opportunity at AdventHealth might be the perfect fit for your career advancement.
