Job Description

Cypress Valley Clinic, operating under the Kerr County Christian Action Council (KCCAC), is a community-focused healthcare and support organization that provides vital services to individuals and families in need. KCCAC is committed to offering compassionate care driven by Christian principles, emphasizing respect for life, hope, and holistic well-being. The organization blends professional healthcare administration with ministry work, serving a diverse client base in Kerr County and surrounding areas. Their efforts go beyond clinical care, involving prayer, community outreach, education, and advocacy to advance their mission and positively impact the community's lives.

The Front Desk Receptionist role at Cypress Valley Clinic is central to the smooth operation of their healthcare and support services. This full-time, exempt position requires the receptionist to work between 32 and 40 hours per week, with normal hours from Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, and the third Saturday of the month from 9 am to 5 pm. Some variation in hours may occur based on the organization's needs. The role reports directly to the Executive Director and offers an annual salary of $26,400 plus a healthcare stipend, making it both a rewarding and supportive employment opportunity.

The Front Desk Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, setting a welcoming and professional tone for every interaction. Responsibilities include assisting walk-in clients, managing appointments for nursing staff, and handling phone inquiries promptly and respectfully. The receptionist also maintains meticulous filing systems for both electronic and physical client records and supports the facility's daily operations, including upkeep and ensuring security during business opening and closing.

Beyond administrative duties, this role embraces the ministry aspect of KCCAC’s mission by participating in corporate prayer, assisting at fundraising events, and contributing to social media outreach. The receptionist plays an integral part in fostering a caring, faith-based environment, demonstrating a loving, non-judgmental attitude consistent with KCCAC's values.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to serve the diverse community effectively. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google platforms. Candidates must be self-directed, capable of working independently, and committed to contributing as an engaged team member who views this role as more than just a job but as a meaningful extension of their faith and service to others.

Overall, this position offers a unique opportunity to blend administrative healthcare support with active participation in a faith-led community mission. The successful candidate will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion, making a lasting impact by supporting both the clients and the broader goals of KCCAC and Cypress Valley Clinic.
