This clinic prides itself on providing patient-centered care and maintaining a professional, empathetic, and supportive environment for both patients and staff. As a medical establishment, it plays a crucial role in improving patient health and well-being through efficient care coordination and administrative support.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team. The Front Desk Receptionist position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the clinic by managing administrative tasks that support both healthcare providers and patients. This role requires an individual who is organized, empathetic, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities with precision and care. As the first point of contact, the receptionist embodies the clinic's commitment to compassion and professionalism, providing warm and respectful interactions to all visitors.
The responsibilities include managing patient check-ins and check-outs, maintaining and updating accurate patient medical records, handling insurance verifications, and obtaining necessary consent forms. Additionally, the receptionist will communicate with patients daily through phone calls, process referrals, and support efficient scheduling to optimize provider availability and enhance patient satisfaction.
This role demands strong organizational skills to maintain office inventory, secure sensitive information, and support the clinic's operational needs, including traveling to other clinics within the region when necessary for coverage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, computer literacy—particularly with Microsoft Office Suite—and bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish preferred to better serve our diverse patient population.
The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of one year of prior receptionist experience. A focus on patient confidentiality, compassion, reliability, and communication excellence is essential to thrive in this role. By joining our team, you will be part of an organization that values every employee's contribution to creating a positive healthcare experience and supporting the overall mission to care for our community effectively and respectfully.
