The ideal candidate will excel at delivering superior customer service, managing multi-line phone systems, and efficiently handling patient intake processes including insurance verification and co-pay collection. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly valued to ensure precise appointment scheduling and accurate record keeping.
In this role, the Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients warmly and professionally, maintaining patient confidentiality, and facilitating smooth patient flow by coordinating with healthcare providers and clinical staff. Attention to detail is essential for tasks such as attaching forms to the correct patient records, maintaining an organized front office and waiting area, and producing accurate end-of-day payment reconciliations. Additionally, the receptionist handles patient inquiries concerning clinic services, insurance policies, and referral processes, ensuring patients have clear and helpful information.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of relevant front desk or administrative experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with EHR or EMR systems preferred
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Professional appearance and punctuality
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer multi-line phones and route calls appropriately
- Schedule and confirm appointments using our EHR system
- Collect and verify insurance information and patient intake forms
- Take co-pays and other payments
- reconcile end-of-day reports
- Maintain a clean, organized front office and waiting area
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Respond to inquiries regarding services, insurance, and clinic policies
- Maintain privacy of patients: always assure patient confidentiality
- Attach all forms to proper patient records
- Maintain daily schedule
- Send out any/all referrals (MRI, Pain management referrals, etc.) either by Fax or Email
