The role of Gym Staff at Planet Fitness is pivotal in upholding the company’s reputation by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining facility cleanliness. Gym Staff are the first point of contact for members, prospective members, and guests. They greet visitors with enthusiasm and professionalism, making every individual feel welcomed and valued. Responsibilities include handling member check-ins, guiding new members through sign-up processes, giving informative tours, and efficiently managing inquiries via phone or in person. In addition, staff conduct routine and detailed cleaning duties throughout the gym to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

This position requires flexibility as it primarily involves working morning shifts from 7 am to 12 pm, Monday through Thursday. Candidates are expected to possess a positive, upbeat attitude alongside strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse customers. Experience in customer service and basic computer skills are highly valued to facilitate smooth operations. The role also demands physical stamina to stand and walk continuously while occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
