Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of insurance plans including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare and Marketplace
- At least 1 year of Erie experience in a PBA role or similar position
- Prior staff supervision experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of medical/dental office computer applications
- Computer applications experience in Microsoft Office products

Job Duties
- Train, coach and develop Patient Benefit Advocates and Patient Benefit Advocate II staff members
- Work closely with the Operations Manager/PBA Supervisor to ensure front desk processes are followed
- Oversee the intake and assessment of patients for insurance and sliding fee scale discounts
- Perform monthly and corporate performance reviews
- Meet monthly with PBA team to discuss performance, attendance, challenges and growth opportunities
- Ensure accurate scheduling, approve timesheets and PTO requests for PBA staff
- Perform other duties as required
