Guests enjoy a unique blend of modern comfort and authentic Alaska adventure, with multiple onsite dining options including a brewery and café, as well as communal outdoor decks offering spectacular views of Mount Susitna and Knik Arm. The hotel’s Adventure Desk further enhances the experience by connecting guests with premier outdoor activities such as glacier tours and world-class salmon fishing at nearby Ship Creek. Scheduled to open in early 2025, The Wildbirch will join the JdV by Hyatt brand, bringing the added value of exclusive member benefits through the World of Hyatt loyalty program.

Your leadership will foster an environment where guests feel welcomed and connected to the unique Alaskan culture, from the excitement of the Iditarod race to viewing the spectacular Northern Lights. You will build and lead a team that reflects these values, ensuring every touchpoint from check-in through check-out creates a memorable experience. This role requires a hospitality expert who is also a local ambassador, capable of providing personalized, knowledgeable recommendations about Anchorage's attractions and outdoor activities.
Operationally, you will manage all aspects of the front office, maintaining alignment with The Wildbirch Hotel’s brand values while driving efficiency and financial performance. Key tasks include overseeing scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management, as well as maintaining rigorous financial procedures covering cashier functions, upgrades, cancellations, and other adjustments. The front office environment will be maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness, ensuring an approachable and impeccable guest reception area. As a leader, you will inspire collaboration and mutual respect among your team, while fostering strong communication skills. You will also mentor and develop your staff to achieve excellence in service delivery. Collaboration with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and sales will be critical to creating a seamless guest experience.
