Job Requirements

  • Education or experience in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a front office or guest service management role
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Knowledge of local Anchorage attractions cultural hotspots and outdoor activities
  • Proficiency with property management systems and financial procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings

Job Duties

  • Manage the front office ensuring alignment with the Wildbirch Hotel's brand values and delivering impeccable guest service
  • Implement efficient processes that meet financial goals
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of room features amenities packages promotions and availability
  • Train the front office team to provide consistent product knowledge
  • Oversee scheduling budgeting and inventory management
  • Follow established financial procedures including cashier functions upgrades cancellations and adjustments
  • Regularly inspect the lobby and front entry to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Monitor experiential touchpoints and service quality
  • Lead through strong communication and interpersonal skills promoting collaboration and respect
  • Coach mentor and develop team members to deliver excellent service
  • Collaborate with housekeeping maintenance food and beverage and sales departments
