The hotel is currently seeking a dedicated and upbeat Front Desk Agent to join its team, available for both AM and PM shifts, offering a pay rate of $16 to $20 per hour. This role is essential in providing guests with a warm welcome, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and addressing any inquiries or concerns during their stay. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing guest payments, operating the switchboard, assisting with dining reservations at the on-site restaurant, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the hotel layout, special tariffs, and offers, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. This position demands physical agility as well as flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or suitable equivalent
  • 1+ years of front desk agent experience preferred
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods
  • Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays

Job Duties

  • Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner
  • Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts
  • Anticipating and addressing guests' needs, and resolving their problems and complaints
  • Assisting guests with disabilities
  • Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries
  • Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist
