Job Description
Our company, based in Oak Creek, WI, is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment where employees feel valued and appreciated. We are a forward-thinking organization that prioritizes a people-first culture and understands the importance of employee engagement and satisfaction. Located onsite at our vibrant workplace, we emphasize creating memorable experiences through celebrations and company-wide events. Our full-time Front Desk Coordinator role is a pivotal position within our company, offering an hourly pay range of $17 to $21. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required during company events and quarter-end periods to support the busiest times of the year.
The Front Desk Coordinator role is unique, extending far beyond traditional receptionist duties. This position serves as the face of the company, representing the first impression for visitors, employees, and clients. It is a role that requires a warm, friendly, and professional presence, making people feel welcomed and supported from the moment they step through the door. Beyond these responsibilities, the Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the employee experience by managing office operations and coordinating company meals, celebrations, and various events.
In this multifaceted role, the Front Desk Coordinator will greet visitors and employees, maintain a clean and organized front desk area, and support company safety protocols to ensure a secure environment. This position is integral in keeping daily office operations running smoothly by assisting with administrative tasks and providing general support to leadership and team members.
Event coordination is a significant aspect of this job. The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing food and beverage setups for company town halls, employee birthdays, milestone anniversaries, and quarter-end celebrations—the busiest times each quarter. This includes ordering, setting up, and cleaning up food and event spaces, preparing meeting rooms with necessary supplies and refreshments, and ensuring all events run seamlessly and feel well-executed.
The Front Desk Coordinator will also assist with administrative and human resources support such as interview scheduling, candidate communication, onboarding new hires, and managing office documentation and organizational tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking while maintaining calmness in a fast-paced atmosphere. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and enjoys interacting with others, embodying strong communication skills in both in-person and email interactions. Experience in administrative support, front desk, hospitality, or event coordination is preferred.
The work environment for this position is fully onsite, involving a combination of office duties, event coordination, and light physical activity like setup and cleanup tasks. Occasionally, the role includes time spent in warehouse or dock areas, with all necessary safety gear provided. The position suits an individual ready to take ownership, make an impact, and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented culture that values innovation and employee engagement.
Joining our team means becoming part of a company that values and invests in its people, offers variety in daily tasks, and provides full benefits including paid time off. If you are looking for a role where no two days are the same and you can visibly shape the employee experience, this Front Desk Coordinator position is an excellent opportunity to bring your skills and enthusiasm to a thriving company environment.
