Job Description
Our clinic is dedicated to ensuring every child has access to quality dental care delivered in a warm and welcoming environment. We prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction while providing comprehensive dental services tailored specifically for children. Our team is passionate about creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere so that young patients and their families feel at ease during every visit. We utilize state-of-the-art technology and patient-centered approaches to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for all our patients. Located in a convenient, accessible area, our clinic is proud to serve the community with dedication and care. We emphasize continuous improvement and foster a collaborative work environment where staff members are valued and encouraged to grow professionally.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in an in-person role. This position is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic’s daily activities, specifically by managing the patient waiting area and serving as the primary point of contact for all patient communications. The Front Desk Coordinator will prepare the reception and waiting areas each day to create an inviting space for guests. This person will handle multiple channels of communication, including email, phone messages, and others, responding promptly to patient inquiries. Responsibilities also include managing patient accounts by notifying patients of outstanding balances, securely collecting payments at the time of service, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping and deposit procedures.
In addition, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in scheduling by maximizing appointment bookings, confirming patient schedules to reduce no-shows, and reaching out to patients who miss appointments to reschedule. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, proficiency with patient management software, and preferably experience with Dentrix Ascend. Bilingual skills in Spanish are considered an asset. Compensation for this role ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the coordinator in patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Our clinic offers a comprehensive benefits package, including dental and health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other employee support programs. Joining our team means becoming part of a community committed to dental health and quality service excellence.
