Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent or currently pursuing one
minimum 1-year experience in fitness center or customer service
must be able to work weekends
ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds regularly
must pass pre-hire drug screen and background check
professional appearance and demeanor
excellent communication skills
ability to work in fast-paced environment
strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or in the process of obtaining one
minimum 1-year fitness center and customer service experience
previous experience in resort, spa, or fitness center preferred
knowledge of spa, fitness, aquatics and sports industry
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities
strong team-building skills
demonstrated initiative and independent decision-making ability

Job Duties

Responsible for offering superior customer service to members and spa guests
maintenance and organization of equipment in spa and fitness locker room areas
replenishes supply of clean towels in spa locker rooms throughout the shift
inspects and maintains spa and fitness stations for neatness and cleanliness
demonstrates function of spa and fitness equipment, proper use, and techniques
responsible for inventory of point-of-sale items, currency and maintains current supply
responsible for greeting and checking in members and guests, providing rental equipment, and adhering to scheduling procedures
maintain effective communication with members, guests, and fellow team members
outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills
accuracy in scheduling and confirming spa appointments via phone and in person
understanding of point of sale, checking out guests, able to make change and keep an accurate cash drawer
