Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or currently pursuing one
  • minimum 1-year experience in fitness center or customer service
  • must be able to work weekends
  • ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • must pass pre-hire drug screen and background check
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or in the process of obtaining one
  • minimum 1-year fitness center and customer service experience
  • previous experience in resort, spa, or fitness center preferred
  • knowledge of spa, fitness, aquatics and sports industry
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities
  • strong team-building skills
  • demonstrated initiative and independent decision-making ability

Job Duties

  • Responsible for offering superior customer service to members and spa guests
  • maintenance and organization of equipment in spa and fitness locker room areas
  • replenishes supply of clean towels in spa locker rooms throughout the shift
  • inspects and maintains spa and fitness stations for neatness and cleanliness
  • demonstrates function of spa and fitness equipment, proper use, and techniques
  • responsible for inventory of point-of-sale items, currency and maintains current supply
  • responsible for greeting and checking in members and guests, providing rental equipment, and adhering to scheduling procedures
  • maintain effective communication with members, guests, and fellow team members
  • outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills
  • accuracy in scheduling and confirming spa appointments via phone and in person
  • understanding of point of sale, checking out guests, able to make change and keep an accurate cash drawer
