Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 16 years of age
  • food server and TIPS/MAST card required
  • clerical skills including typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records
  • computer proficiency
  • physical ability to move about on foot to accomplish tasks, bend, lift and carry weights up to 30 lbs
  • ability to stand for extended periods and climb steps occasionally
  • speech recognition and clarity in English
  • ability to work on site
  • ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist guests through friendly interactions, answering questions, and completing tasks
  • provide administrative, reception, and program support to management, staff, and guests including answering phones and providing directions
  • manage walk-in traffic, sign in and out guests as needed, smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner
  • register and assign rooms to guests, provide quotes for room rates and up-sell the guest when possible
  • assist in coordinating the front desk and housekeeping departments to assure rooms are clean and ready
  • verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio, collect payment for charges
  • ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift
  • resolve guest concerns and complaints within scope of authority, refer to management as appropriate
  • act as host for adjacent dining room, seating guests and offering beverages
  • assist as busser, server, or porter in adjacent lobby and dining room as needed
  • perform other related duties as directed or required
