Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to perform reaching, stooping and/or crouching motions repeatedly
- Must be able to communicate verbally
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Preferred six months experience in basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke
- Ability to complete several tasks at once with accuracy
- Union referral
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred one year experience in front desk or guest service field
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Ability to handle heavy telephone volume
- Team player
Job Duties
- Process check-in and check-out transactions for guests
- Assist guests with questions about the city and property
- Assist guests with booking dinner, shows, and other reservations
- Assist with guest service recovery when possible
- Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude
- Stay informed on current hotel events to assist guests
- Act as a liaison to expedite guest requests
