Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Must possess mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Must perform duties with a sense of urgency
  • Must possess a polished and professional appearance
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have guest service experience
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift and carry minimum 25 lbs
  • Must be able to work independently and with a team
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and stressful situations
  • Must tolerate second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Duties

  • Responsible for guest satisfaction and complete flow of communication at the front desk
  • Registers and processes guests promptly upon arrival and departure
  • Perform all guest accounting functions according to established hotel procedure
  • Receive and process telephone and walk-in reservations accurately
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters
  • Oversee a secure and safe environment for employees and guests
  • Maintain grooming standards according to property policies
  • Perform all duties requested or required
  • Greet and welcome hotel and casino guests energetically and enthusiastically
  • Assign appropriate guest room accommodations during check-in
  • Verify that departing guests have experienced superior hospitality
  • Invoke service recovery when appropriate
  • Cashier duties including record keeping, posting charges, billing disputes and cash handling
  • Inform guests of shows, facilities, services, and room amenities
  • Assist guests with special accommodation requests
  • Make reservations and handle cancellations
  • Handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency
