Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- valid class 'C' Texas driver’s license
- current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
- ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 10 pounds
- ability to maintain professional conduct and punctual attendance
- free from effects of illegal drugs and alcohol
- able to work in wet and noisy environments
- subject to random drug and alcohol screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- valid class 'C' Texas driver’s license
- current certification in First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain during staff training
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage high-stress situations
- customer service experience preferred
- knowledge of emergency action plans
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Duties
- act in a professional manner at all times
- provide quality customer service
- oversee facility and enforce rules and regulations regarding proper use
- provide knowledgeable information to citizens regarding recreation programs and membership
- arrange chairs, tables, and equipment for group activities
- register customers for class memberships and notify patrons of schedules
- maintain a clean and sanitary facility
- monitor access to the Recreation Center and manage equipment inventory
- sell designated products to patrons while maintaining a balanced cash register
- recognize and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies
- maintain non-public areas secure
- perform other duties as assigned
