Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, run, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent decision-making and self-awareness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Natural love for working with and caring for dogs
  • Confidence around all dog breeds and sizes
  • Exposure to unpleasant odors, animal waste, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations
  • Personal accountability regarding attendance, dress code, and policies
  • Positive attitude and engagement in daily work
  • Openness to coaching and learning new skills
  • Ability to work year-round in outdoor and varied weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Passionate about dog care and animal welfare
  • Willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties

  • Welcoming and assisting clients at the front desk
  • Upselling additional services and benefits to clients
  • Processing payments accurately and managing clerical work
  • Safely escorting dogs throughout the facility
  • Leading and supervising safe group play sessions
  • Making sound decisions during dog pack management
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment
