Job Description
WeWork is a global company specializing in providing flexible workspace solutions designed to help businesses of all sizes thrive. Operating in more than 37 countries worldwide, WeWork is pioneering the future of work by creating vibrant, community-focused environments. The company is committed to empowering its members by providing supportive workspaces that foster creativity, productivity, and collaboration. WeWork's mission is to build a global community where members can do their best work and grow their ideas. The company places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, innovation, and creating welcoming environments that reflect its core values.
This job opportunity is for a Front Desk Associate, a pivotal role within WeWork's hospitality team. The front desk serves as the face of WeWork to its members and guests, making this role essential for creating a positive first impression and fostering a strong sense of community. The Front Desk Associate will be the primary point of contact for members, visitors, and sometimes their pets, welcoming them warmly and ensuring they feel valued and supported during their time at WeWork spaces. The position requires working weekdays at one of the company's beautiful locations and involves collaborating closely with the Community Management team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Depending on the site, the Front Desk Associate may interact with a diverse mix of members from various industries or focus on servicing Enterprise clients, which might involve different holidays, technical systems, and property management responsibilities. This role encompasses front desk management, member engagement, and operational support tasks. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing front desk activities such as mail and package handling, monitoring building operations, and supporting the Community Team. The Associate will also be expected to promote WeWork's products and services to members effectively.
The role is designed for individuals who enjoy interpersonal interaction and thrive in dynamic environments. Candidates who are people-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and can multitask efficiently while prioritizing member experiences will be successful. Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will exemplify integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic while embracing WeWork's mission and values.
Compensation for the Front Desk Associate role is competitive, with base pay ranging from $22 to $23 per hour. Employees are eligible for incentive compensation plans tailored to their roles, subject to company terms and conditions. Full-time employees benefit from comprehensive benefits packages, including 20 days of paid time off, approximately 13 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave per year, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, and competitive healthcare coverage. Additional benefits include participation in a 401(k) retirement plan and life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
At WeWork, employees are part of a vibrant community that values open-mindedness, collaboration, and diversity. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on a wide range of protected characteristics. WeWork's culture encourages employees to bring their unique perspectives, contribute to community groups and global projects, and pursue growth alongside talented colleagues who share a passion for innovation and success. Join WeWork to become part of a team dedicated to reshaping the future of work with purpose and passion.
