The role of Front Desk Associate at CorePower Yoga is pivotal in enhancing the studio experience for every visitor and student. As the face of the studio, this position requires delivering premium customer service, supporting yoga teachers and students alike, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment. The Front Desk Associate plays a strategic role in driving student retention, retail and rental revenue, and operational consistency throughout the studio’s varied traffic patterns and class schedules.

This position is part-time with variable hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of studio operations. The Front Desk Associate is entrusted with key responsibilities such as managing front desk operations, facilitating smooth student check-ins, nurturing student relationships, and ensuring studio cleanliness and readiness before and after classes.

The position demands proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, a warm and engaging demeanor, and a strong commitment to customer service excellence. The Front Desk Associate supports retail sales by recommending products, upselling when appropriate, and maintaining merchandise presentation according to CorePower’s brand standards. Additionally, this role involves studio maintenance including resetting practice rooms, sanitizing locker rooms, and maintaining the overall aesthetics aligned with brand expectations.

The role also involves opening and closing duties, where the associate acts as a key holder responsible for security procedures and ensuring the studio is always prepared to welcome students. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to work early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to the studio location
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale POS systems
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Deliver a best-in-class welcome for new and returning students including studio etiquette class formats intensity levels and membership benefits
  • Build authentic warm relationships with students and teachers
  • Help students with purchases including retail mat/towel rentals water and yoga products upsell thoughtfully when appropriate
  • Proactively manage class waitlists and ensure smooth check-in flow
  • Support communication of studio updates promotions and facility issues to teachers and the Studio Experience Team
  • Accurately reconcile rosters by verifying charges supporting student needs or concerns and completing roster close-out processes
  • Support retail sales by helping students with sizing product recommendations and purchase decisions
  • Maintain merchandise presentation to brand standards including handling markdowns and placing new products on the floor
  • Maintain practice rooms tidy spaces reset props clean mirrors and ensure overall readiness
  • Keep locker rooms clean sanitized and fully stocked
  • Uphold brand standards for cleanliness and facility upkeep to enhance the student environment
  • Serve as the studio key holder responsible for daily opening and closing procedures
  • Prepare the studio for the first class of the day unlock the studio set up lights and audio and ensure the space is tidy fresh and welcoming
  • Perform closing procedures after final classes secure the studio reconcile POS tidy rooms and restock as needed
