Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of experience in customer service
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- physical ability to perform pet handling and standing for long periods
- comfortable working with dogs of all sizes
- ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Job Qualifications
- One to two years of customer service experience in roles such as customer service, call center, or receptionist
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- attention to detail particularly in documentation
- cheerful, friendly, and positive team-oriented attitude
- problem-solving skills to provide exceptional guest experiences
- physically able to lift up to 60 pounds and handle pets comfortably
- flexibility to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
Job Duties
- Welcome pet parents and pets with a positive attitude and engaging communication
- organize and process check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- walk pets during drop off and pickup while coordinating suite placement
- answer phone calls, respond to voicemails and emails promptly
- complete cashier and point of sale transactions accurately
- maintain cleanliness of the entranceway, lobby, restrooms, and cat room
- act as liaison to veterinary services and manage appointment status and arrivals
- handle pet harnesses during check in and check out
- ensure suites are properly set up for each pet
- familiarize with different types of pet harnesses
