Job Description

The hiring establishment is a residential property management company dedicated to providing top-tier service to residents and guests across various supported properties. As a vital part of the organization's commitment to excellence, they focus on creating welcoming and secure environments that enhance the living experience for all occupants. This company's ethos revolves around building meaningful relationships through direct interaction and offering comprehensive support, which differentiates them in the property management sector. Their reputation is built on professionalism, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to solving daily challenges faced by residents and guests.

This particular role is for a Front Desk Associate, a key position that embodies the company's service values and acts as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and service providers. The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in creating positive first impressions while ensuring safety and operational efficiency within the building. This part-time role offers compensation at a rate of $18 per hour and requires a commitment of 8 hours per week, specifically on Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm.

In this position, the Front Desk Associate will work independently to manage the front desk area, greet and assist residents, and handle various administrative tasks including monitoring access, managing deliveries, and maintaining safety protocols. The job demands excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable with multitasking and maintaining confidentiality while navigating complex situations such as emergency responses and tenant concerns. This opportunity empowers associates to contribute directly to residents' quality of living by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a secure and orderly environment.

The role also requires physical capability to undertake duties involving standing, walking, occasional climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. As the incumbent must be ready to respond to emergencies, fast auditory and visual detection of alarms is essential. Flexibility to work extended and varied hours is critical, aligning with the nature of property management where needs can arise unpredictably.

Beyond the fundamental responsibilities, the company offers supplemental benefits including dental and vision coverage, underscoring their commitment to employee well-being even in part-time roles. The hiring process incorporates modern evaluation techniques such as the use of an Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT) to ensure objective and fair assessment of candidates based on relevant job-related characteristics. This reinforces the company's dedication to equal opportunity and compliance with disability accommodation laws.

Overall, this Front Desk Associate role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service, safety, and community engagement within property management. It provides a platform to develop professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment while contributing meaningfully to residents' daily experiences. With a clear structure, committed team, and a respectful culture, the company encourages motivated candidates to apply and join their dedicated workforce.
