The company operates several hotels managed under its brand, emphasizing a culture where employees are valued, respected, and supported through career development and competitive compensation. Concord Hospitality prides itself on a culture that puts associates first, ensuring that each team member not only contributes to but also benefits from a supportive and fun work environment. Associates enjoy numerous benefits, including medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, disability options, 401K plans, tuition assistance, discounted room rates, and opportunities for training and advancement.
The Front Desk Associate role at Concord Hospitality is a full-time position that plays a critical part in the guest experience and overall hotel operation. Offering a starting pay of $16 per hour, the position requires the individual to have the flexibility to work varying shifts, primarily from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. This role is centered at the hotel’s hub—the front desk—where the associate serves as the first and most frequent point of contact for guests. A Front Desk Associate must demonstrate a passion for serving others, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond proactively, professionally, and with genuine care to each guest interaction. This role demands a high level of responsibility, reliability, and a winning personality that can engage guests and team members alike.
The responsibilities of a Front Desk Associate include assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times, maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality, and effectively handling guest concerns and issues to ensure complete satisfaction. Additionally, the associate is responsible for posting guest charges, collecting payments, and adhering strictly to cash handling procedures. The role also involves managing guest mail and messages with a focus on privacy and professionalism. Deep knowledge of the hotel’s brand, travel programs, and special offers is crucial to enhance the guest experience.
The role requires excellent communication skills to liaise seamlessly with various hotel departments and management regarding guest feedback and concerns. Front Desk Associates are expected to respond promptly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members who require assistance at the desk. Furthermore, the role involves comprehensive knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures to ensure the wellbeing of guests and staff.
Associates choose Concord Hospitality because of the company’s commitment to a great work environment and career growth. The company fosters an atmosphere where employees feel valued and supported through its Associate First policy. Concord offers full-time associates a substantial benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, life coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, 401K plans, tuition support, and discounted stays at Concord-managed hotels. There are also continuous opportunities for training, development, and career advancement.
This full-time role is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic work environment where they can grow professionally and be part of a fun, dedicated team. Concord Hospitality is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and maintains a drug-free workplace. The company is committed to compliance with federal employment laws and provides applicants with appropriate notifications regarding their rights.
