Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of customer service experience
  • Ability to handle physical labor including lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Comfortable working around pets especially dogs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years in a customer service role such as customer service, call center or receptionist
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service
  • Cheerful, friendly, and positive team-oriented attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in documentation
  • Enjoys problem solving to provide premier guest experience
  • Physically able to handle pet care duties including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods
  • Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and peak schedules

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their pets as they enter the resort
  • Organizing and processing check-ins and check-outs
  • Walking dogs during drop-off and pick-up and coordinating suite placement
  • Answering incoming phone calls, responding to voicemails and emails in a timely manner
  • Completing cashier and point of sale operations
  • Communicating and following up on pet parent and resort leadership requests
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the entranceway, lobby, and restrooms
  • Supporting and cleaning the cat room per resort routines
  • Acting as a liaison to the veterinary service team regarding appointment status and arrivals
