Job Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • basic math skills for cash handling and register operations
  • experience with cash registers or POS systems preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
  • bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus but not required
  • a positive attitude reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential traits for success in this role

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
  • manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently
  • handle cash transactions including payments and deposits ensuring accuracy
  • maintain the front desk area clean and organized
  • answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding hotel services reservations and local attractions
  • assist guests with any requests or issues during their stay demonstrating excellent customer service skills
  • process reservations using the POS system and manage booking changes as needed
  • communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience through retail sales techniques
