At HVC, the Guest Services Agent plays a vital role in ensuring that every visitor’s stay is seamless, enjoyable, and filled with meaningful moments. As a Guest Services Agent, you will act as the primary point of contact for Owners and guests, assisting them with check-in procedures, providing detailed information about villa amenities, local attractions, and property services, and handling requests or concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels. Your daily responsibilities will require a proactive and empathetic approach, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay.

The Guest Services Agent not only greets and checks in guests but also addresses inquiries, routes calls to the appropriate departments, and may assist with bellman or runner duties as needed. Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items that weigh up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to operate telephone systems and basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Checks owners/guests into their villas and reviews property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities
  • Actively listens and responds positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contacts other departments to help resolve guest issues
  • Identifies and explains room features to guests such as use of room keys, ice and vending areas
  • Follows up with owners/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
  • Answers telephone calls and routes calls to the proper department
  • May assist with bellman and runner duties depending on facility or location
  • Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
  • Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contributes to team goals and follows company policies and safety procedures
