  • previous experience in a guest-facing role, such as in a hotel or resort
  • ability to stand or sit for long periods
  • must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
  • check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring that all registration details are accurately entered into the system
  • handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
  • maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, policies, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests
  • process payments, including credit card and cash transactions, while ensuring accuracy
  • coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to address guest needs and resolve any issues
  • monitor guest accounts for discrepancies and ensure that all charges are correct at check-out
  • maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • assist with reservations, including handling cancellations, modifications, and special requests
  • provide guests with directions, recommendations for local dining, attractions, and other services as requested
  • follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety, security, and confidentiality protocols
  • prepare and distribute daily reports and ensure all front desk paperwork is completed accurately
  • assist with other administrative duties as needed, such as maintaining guest records or handling group check-ins
