Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year hotel front desk experience
- Experience with Opera PMS preferred
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Acrobat Adobe Pro
- Some accounting experience preferred
- Some college preferred
- Fluent English required
- Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Schedule flexibility based on business demand
- Must have own reliable vehicle due to military installation access restrictions
- Ability to stand frequently behind the desk and in office areas
- Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to handle objects, products, and computer equipment
- Ability to use a keyboard to operate property management and reservation systems
- Effective communication skills
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
- Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and/or holidays
- Successful completion of a federal background check for installation access

Job Duties
- Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
- Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location
- Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
- Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank
- Complete and transmit daily accounting reports, review all data, and prepare consolidated Adobe reports for approval by hotel management
- Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints and make appropriate service recovery gestures
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
