The role of the Front Desk Agent at Lodge Kohler is a vital position within the guest services team, serving as the first point of contact and the welcoming face of the hotel. This position requires a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented individual who can provide a prompt and cheerful greeting to every guest according to Kohler Co. standards. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for registering guests using the Fidelio property management system and handling room key programming through the Marlok system. The agent also supports guests by providing accurate hotel information, assisting with luggage needs, and coordinating bellman services to ensure a seamless arrival experience. Financial transactions at the front desk must be handled with care and adherence to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and security for both guests and the hotel.
Additionally, the Front Desk Agent responds to reservation requests, clarifies room rates and availability, and informs guests about the hotel’s facilities and services. Job Requirements

- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Ability to use property management software
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- Proficiency with property management systems such as Fidelio and Marlok an advantage

Job Duties
- Providing a prompt, cheerful and proper greeting of guests per Kohler Co. standards
- Registering guests in and out of Fidelio property management system
- Programming and deleting room keys using Marlok system
- Providing guests with hotel information
- Offering assistance with luggage
- summon bellman and provide introduction
- Handling all money transactions at the front desk following standard operating procedures
- Responding to reservation requests made by guests
- Explaining rate structure, available rooms, facilities, and service
- Timely responding to special requests
