Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- high work ethic and self-initiative
- ability to work in a standard office environment
- ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
- occasional standing, walking, bending and reaching
- frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, typing and office equipment
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed
- ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings
- reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in front desk or hospitality role preferred
- strong knowledge of front office systems and procedures
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift and move items weighing 10-25 pounds
Job Duties
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests
- promptly and professionally check guests in and out of the hotel
- assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary
- post all charges accurately and efficiently
- manage cash handling including receiving payments and making change
- review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly
- have knowledge of hotel rates, discounts, and handle them correctly
- take same day reservations and follow cancellation and relocation procedures
