Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a full-service hotel front desk preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with Opera PMS or similar property management systems
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to handle guest issues professionally
  • basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet all guests using the 10-5 Rule
  • introduce yourself at the first opportunity
  • use guest names whenever possible to personalize interactions
  • be fully versed in the check-in/check-out procedures and hotel policies
  • operate Opera systems efficiently for seamless guest arrival and departure
  • proactively identify guest needs and offer assistance or escalate as necessary
  • handle various scenarios with professionalism and care
  • promote hotel amenities and assist with future room reservations
  • remain knowledgeable about ZIP loyalty program offerings and benefits
  • maintain understanding of the hotel’s organization, departments, and facilities
  • adhere to grooming standards and uniform policies
  • complete tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
  • follow all hotel safety procedures
  • operate technical equipment at the front desk such as Opera PMS, computer systems, printers, telephones
