Job Description
This job opportunity is with a hotel franchise that operates independently under the Hilton brand umbrella, specifically as a member of the Outset Collection by Hilton. Hilton is globally recognized for its commitment to hospitality excellence and delivering premium guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts. As a franchisee-owned property, this hotel operates autonomously with control over its employment practices, salaries, and benefits. The hotel maintains high standards that align with Hilton's brand to ensure consistency and quality in guest services. Associate team members benefit from a workplace culture centered on professionalism, respect, career growth, and continuous development in a welcoming and dynamic environment.
The position available is for a Front Desk Agent, a critical role within the hotel setting responsible for serving as the initial point of contact for guests. The Front Desk Agent is integral in crafting positive first impressions by delivering exceptional guest service from arrival through departure. This involves managing a variety of guest interactions including check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations and guest inquiries, and facilitating communication between guests and hotel departments to enhance the overall guest experience. The role is designed to support Hilton's elevated hospitality standards as delivered through the Outset Collection, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay for all guests.
Front Desk Agents must exhibit a warm, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills to adeptly handle guest needs and resolve issues efficiently. This position requires attentiveness to detail, organizational skills, and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The agent will also be responsible for maintaining the front desk area’s pristine condition, accurate guest records, balancing cash transactions, and supporting upselling initiatives. Full engagement with Hilton operational standards, policies, and procedures is a must to ensure compliance and uphold brand integrity.
Employment for this role is with the franchisee and not Hilton corporate. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $23 and includes benefits such as Hilton travel discounts, health insurance options, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement and training. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary to meet the demands of hotel operations. This role offers a meaningful entry point into the hospitality industry, with potential for professional growth and development in a reputable hotel environment connected to a renowned global brand.
