Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in Front Desk or Guest Services preferred
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Skilled at hotel computer operations
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, sit, reach, bend, and stretch for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Front Desk or Guest Services experience from Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott preferred
- Skilled at working under pressure while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example
- Skilled at hotel computer operations for reservations, reports, and guest services
- Able to work various shifts including weekends
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly and courteously
- Answer questions in a friendly, conversational manner
- Communicate professionally with associates and guests, even when challenged by irate guests
- Solve problems quickly and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Explain internet and in-room entertainment access at check-in
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized lobby area
- Restock brochures, information, and commonly used forms
- Provide information about local attractions and directions
- Apply hotel and corporate safety and security policies
- Attend and complete brand-required training
- Assist during breakfast and social events to enhance guest service
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of guest accounts at check-in and check-out
- Support Front Desk/Operations Manager with ordering supplies and coding invoices
- Promote brand loyalty and adhere to Summit Hospitality Group standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
