Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in front office, PBX, or concierge services preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and facsimile machines
  • Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations calmly
  • Willingness to perform various duties including front desk, PBX, and concierge
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Background screening for previous criminal history
  • Must pass at least 80 percent score on hotel’s reservation system test after training

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in customer service or related fields such as hotel, food and beverage, administrative, or business sectors
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data entry, and database management systems
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to adapt and perform multiple tasks including PBX, concierge, and front desk duties
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence to manage stressful situations effectively
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to engage positively with guests and represent the hotel professionally throughout all stages of their stay

Job Duties

  • Check in and check out guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist guests with completing registration and assign rooms accommodating special requests
  • Verify guest payment methods and follow credit-checking procedures
  • Post guest and room information in the property management system
  • Communicate room status with housekeeping and coordinate maintenance requests
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to promote hotel services and sell rooms
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide concierge services including restaurant reservations and recommendations
