With an emphasis on delivering "Wonderful Hospitality. Always.", JW Marriott upholds a tradition of thoughtful, heartfelt, and forward-thinking guest service.

Positioned within this iconic luxury brand, the role of Guest Services Associate at JW Marriott Washington DC is crucial in ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. This full-time, non-management role offers hourly pay starting at $22.75, with increases to $25.07 after six months and $29.70 after one year. The Guest Services Associate is the frontline ambassador who organizes, confirms, and processes all guest check-ins and check-outs, manages room reservations, and handles guest requests with professionalism and care.

In this capacity, associates secure payments, verify billing adjustments, activate and file room keys, and maintain precise logs and reports to support operational excellence. This position requires engaging with guests by providing directions, sharing information about hotel amenities, services, hours of operation, and local attractions, thereby enriching the guest experience. Associates follow up on pending requests to ensure guest satisfaction and collaborate actively with other hotel departments such as housekeeping, bell services, and security when necessary.

The role also involves operating communications equipment like the telephone switchboard, processing special guest requests, and managing wake-up calls. Adherence to company safety protocols, confidentiality of proprietary information, professional appearance, and effective communication are essential components of this job. The associate stands as a professional representative of JW Marriott, embodying the brand's values and commitment to excellence.

This position is ideal for candidates with a high school diploma or GED, and no prior related work or supervisory experience is required, making it an excellent entry point for a career in luxury hospitality. Beyond basic qualifications, the role demands excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for service.
