Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of front desk or guest service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in local language
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, math and computer skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs (23 kg) including bending and kneeling

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome to start their memorable experience
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or on the phone
  • Manage guest bookings and identify up-selling opportunities
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Check guests in and out swiftly, including verification of IDs and issuing room keys
  • Record and act on guest preferences, messages, requests, questions, and concerns
  • Provide trusted guest support including resolving billing issues and offering local knowledge
  • Follow safety procedures and report all incidents
  • Maintain professional appearance as a brand ambassador
  • Stay informed of daily events and activities
  • Assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed
