Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service
  • Ability to operate computer systems and point-of-sale terminals
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts between 7 am and 11 pm including weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

  • Ability to manage guest complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a front desk agent or in a high-volume customer service role
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends

  • Knowledge of Hilton brand operations is a plus
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and up-selling techniques

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process including inputting and retrieving information from the computer
  • Confirm guest information and room rates
  • Select rooms and code electronic keys
  • Assist guests with check-out ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted
  • Use the point-of-sale system, handle money, process credit and debit cards
  • Accept and record various forms of payment including foreign currency and gift certificates
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information, room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and the local area
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve issues to enhance guest satisfaction
