Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous front desk experience in hotel or hospitality settings
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior Hilton hospitality experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a computer system
- Must have prior front desk experience
Job Duties
- Check-in and check-out hotel guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner
- Initiate courtesy call after check-in to ensure guest is satisfied with accommodations as well as offer any assistance
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- Provide gracious and efficient telephone service related to general PBX services
- Review arrivals noting special requests and block rooms as necessary for VIP and group arrivals
- Complete all items listed on shift checklists
- Perform bucket checks each shift to verify guest information, reservation details, and payment authorization
- Ensure proper credit card procedures are followed
- Adhere to cashiering procedures by balancing bank and printing closing reports
- Advise guests of messages, mail, faxes received
- Communicate all hotel services and amenities offered to guests
- Communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel
- Take, record, and relay messages accurately
- Accept, record, and deliver wake-up call requests
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments
- Meet with previous front desk shift to review hotel status and pass on items
- Provide concierge services with knowledge of local restaurants, events, and attractions
- Know hotel fire and emergency procedures, including exits and evacuation routes
- Keep front desk and lobby clean and organized
- Assist with reservation calls professionally
- Document and dispatch guest requests and maintenance needs in guest request manifest log and submit to manager
